| In
the fall of
2005 five students at the University of Maryland
formed Kol
Ish. Over the course of the next four years they performed
frequently at the campus Hillel for students, while transitioning
into the professional A Cappella scene, by popular demand. |

 |
Today, all
five members have graduated college. In the course of its four years
Kol Ish has
gained acclaim across the United States,
performing at weddings, bar mitzvahs, synagogue events, and
benefit concerts. |
| Recently
Kol Ish has released their debut CD, which
is in high demand, and have
been featured on many Jewish radio stations in the east coast including
Nachum Segal's "JM in the AM." They have also been featured on JNet
Radio in the UK, and their rendition of the national anthem
can regularly be heard at sign-on and sign-off on several local
Maryland and
Philadelphia AM radio stations. |
